While the college search process is often cloaked in myths, mystery, and unpredictability, it does not have to be filled with stress. Instead, a successful search process incorporates organization, education about colleges, and proactive management of the process that reflects and supports each student’s needs and goals. Personalizing each student’s college search and application process to showcase their strengths and ambitions is core to my work. From helping students build a tailored and balanced college list to assisting students in crafting unique and distinguished essays, my work with students is designed to foster a successful application process.

Working with students in my private practice, as a former high school College Advisor, and my ongoing volunteer work allows me to incorporate a breadth of resources that support and benefit students navigating their college search and application process. Combining my Psychology B.A. from the University of Michigan, my Masters in Fine Arts in Creative Writing, my College Counseling Certificate with Distinction from UCLA, with 17 years of working and volunteering in educational non-profits, I developed a college counseling program that educates, empowers, and supports students to achieve their individual college goals. I live in the Bay Area with my husband and beloved “empty nest” pup and love spending time with my children, friends, and family.
